Enabling brands to communicate better. Working on the foundations of a strong marketing and communication plan, while continually challenging and stretching it. Most of all, I prefer to forge cross-media plans, where dialogue and interaction with a company’s consumers or end users are at the centre, but backed up by a powerful concept.

Sometimes 1 slogan and 1.5 cm of bodycopy deliver the message quickly to the right person.
But usually that’s not enough. You can compare it to seduction. You may be able to blow the socks off that desirable stranger with a one-liner, but if you really want to win him/her over, you are best off unfolding a strategy, with the right story at the right moment, subtle little arrows to the head and the heart, breakfast in bed, in short: 'a cunning plan'.
Content close to design, that’s real communication.

Project management from A to Z, contact number 1 for the client, coordinating, organising, interviewing, writing. In a job like this you need a lot of different hats! Communication: internal or external. From staff magazine to corporate film, from re-branding to a recruitment campaign, from a newsletter to a brochure in 7 languages. There is always another new challenge that I enjoy getting my teeth into.

Education: IT at Hogeschool Limburg (HL, now "Xios"), followed by classical piano at the Antwerp Conservatory. The web design sector was more alluring, however...
After studying various CMS systems (Typo3, Joomla, Drupal) it turned out that DRUPAL was definitely my thing: this is a very flexible and dynamic CMS that you can personalise extensively.
Other specialities: Javascript, HTML5, Mobile Apps, Flash (AS3), Flex, and various music applications (Cubase & Ableton Live...)

In relation to customers, I am also a facilitator: they can ask me anything, as long as it has something to do with marketing and communication. I help with presentations, strategic brainstorming, devising and implementing marketing communication plans... and I listen to everyone's complaints or solve problems!
I also get a kick out of producing and giving a stunning presentation, where the audience is with me all the way!
